I speak to medical schools, health systems, academic departments, and industry audiences about what AI actually changes in medicine and medical education. The talks draw on 120+ peer-reviewed publications, two decades of teaching physicians procedures, and the programs I run now: a research lab focused on AI in medical education (Grover Lab), the Summer of Vibes innovation sprint, and the academic portfolio of a large Canadian hospital network. Formats: keynotes, grand rounds, workshops, panels, and executive briefings. Virtual or in person, based in Toronto.
Talks are tailored to the audience. Related topics: simulation-based training, competency assessment, cognitive load in procedural medicine, conflicts of interest in clinical guidelines.
Invited talks and visiting lectures across academic medicine, including Digestive Disease Week (DDW), Canadian Digestive Diseases Week (CDDW), various live courses, national GI and medical education meetings, and university and hospital grand rounds. I founded and directed the University of Toronto Endoscopic Simulation Course for 14 years, through 2024, and host the Summer of Vibes Grand Demo Day at SHN.
